In many ways, I have the best job in the world. I get to meet wonderful people and document important stories all over the world.

In other ways, my job is a lot about logistics… Complicated logistics. Getting all of the gear we need for a shoot to the remote corners of the world can mean anything from shaky domestic flights in Nepal to 17 hour canoe-rides down the Amazon. I want the equipment to arrive safely.

For the last year, thousands and thousands of dollars worth of my underwater video equipment have been stored in a Nanuk case and been subjected to all manner of expedition shenanigans. The reason I love Nanuk cases – the weight of the cases! When you are transporting multiple guns you start adding up all of the weight and then you still have the case. Nanuk cases weigh half the weight of their competitors and are far superior.

As a freelance Adventure photographer, I find myself in many extreme shooting conditions. Shooting surfers from the sandy beach or hanging from a rope 100 feet in the air shooting rock climbers.

I use Nanuk cases to keep my camera gear protected either if i’m Rock climbing, Ice climbing, mountain climbing, paddle boarding, or simply hiking. I will always carry a Nano in my backpack for my cell phone, small camera, external hard drives, memory cards or any important items in need to protect.

For my to go case, the 905 fits one lens and body perfectly. Out in the field, I carry a 925 with a shoulder strap that fits 3 lenses and a camera body. When traveling overseas, I use a 935 on wheels which is the perfect size as a carry on for planes. Shooting events or weddings, the 950 on wheels is the ultimate case to have.

The well design clips, handles and shoulder straps are the best on the market. And not to forget the sexy colours.

After dropping a 905 from a 25 feet rock face and getting pounded by 3 foot waves on my paddle board. I have to say that my Nanuk cases as saved a lot of my gear.

When driving out to the desert to do some shooting, which might take an hour or two, it is key to not forget something you might need… Like a magazine, a suppressor, or an entire handgun. I noticed over time as I acquired more firearms, making decisions on what to bring on a range outing became more and more difficult, and my soft cases and range bags started to proliferate wildly… But then I had a hard time finding accessories, finding firearms (looking through 6 pockets and digging under other things), and it was hard to keep expensive gear from bumping other gear with potentially bad outcomes. The Nanuk 6-pistol case solved my organization problem and keeps my pistols safe even in a packed vehicle which may contain heavy steel targets.

For my rifle, the Nanuk allows me to keep all its magazines and other accessories like suppressors and rangefinders right with the rifle itself, fully protected from whatever might occur during transport. This cases make it easer to transport all the things I want to take with me to the range without any wasted trips due to missing items or damage in transit.
